Leviticus 9 is describing the work that the Priest are to do. Facilitating a way for people to draw near to God is what it is all about! They were to be the ones that knew what to do and how to perform all the ceremonies involved! Why all the ceremonies? Because this is God's way of teaching humans what the Messiah will be like!! This was an educational class like no other!
